WE SHARE

LIFE TOGETHER:

DON’T GO ALONE. We cannot live without honest relationships. We are resolved to figure out how to love God, love each other, and live on mission together.

Whether you are just trying to figure out the whole Jesus thing, or you are attempting to follow Jesus more fully, we think Core community can be a catalyst for real spiritual and life growth. CORE communities consist of 3-8 individuals meeting weekly who live out the practices of Jesus for the purpose of multiplying themselves into the lives of other people. The average CORE community is 10-12 wks and runs seasonally (Fall, Spring, Summer).

Getting Started:

Group sign-ups occur in between seasons during Aug, Jan, and May and last about three weeks into the semester. If you’ve found yourself between semesters – don’t worry – it’s the perfect opportunity to audit a few different Core Communities to get the feel and see what it’s like.

2025 Summer Semester: June 1st – August 9th

Interested in Leading a Core?

We need people just like you to lead Core communities at Grace Church. If you love people, are passionate about following Jesus, and can connect with others that are doing the same thing, you can be a Community Leader! Each leader is connected with a Co-Leader. If you are interested, sign up for our next Leader Training Event this summer.

What Is A Core?

We have committed as a church to live life with Jesus everyday.

Core Communities are a way to live out our faith on a with others on a weekly basis. They are beneficial for people who are exploring Jesus, as well as those who have known him for a long time. Ultimately, Jesus is the one who changes us. However, we believe he can use these four practices as a catalyst for growth:

Confession

It doesn’t create guilt or shame; it creates freedom. In short, it is being honest about the reality of your spiritual condition.

  • If Jesus were to describe this past week, what would he say?
  • What have you been loving more than God?

Outreach

Lost people matter to God, so they matter to us. Each week we pray for 3 people in our lives that God would give us a no brainer moment to talk with them about Him.

  • How have you been loving & prayerful to (your 3) this week?
  • Has God brought you opportunities to share His kindness?

Reading

Scripture is the clearest way to hear from God, know his heart, and how to follow his will.

  • SNAPSHOT* one person gives a 5-minute summary of the reading (different person each week)
  • Discuss what stood out, convicted, or encouraged you in the reading this week.

Encouragment

To literally put courage into someone; the fuel for what we are called to do.

  • Where do you feel fearful?
  • Close your time actively encouraging each other about what has been shared and seen.
